   It's weird that somehow I can reproduce this bug now, the output is
   
   ```
   async returning bar
   StopIteration: bar
   returned: None
   2021-08-28 19:00:00.107 ERROR [0x700004d1c000] ClientConnection:581 | 
[127.0.0.1:56560 -> 127.0.0.1:6650] Read failed: Operation canceled
   ```
