sijie opened a new issue #2569: Add BC testing for functions CLI and function worker URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-pulsar/issues/2569 *Motivation* Functions CLI does a lot of "magic" in submitting functions. so changes between releases can potentially break functionalities. e.g. #2501 breaks the trigger function. so we need a BC testing framework to be able to cover such BC issues.
