Hello, My understanding of your question is as follows 1: I understand that the server needs to support compression of topic data, which is reflected in the details before the offsetMap construction of [compact topic ](https://github.com/apache/rocketmq/wiki/ RIP-30-Support-Compaction-topic) 2. My understanding is assuming that the user has a topic that contains user actions used to train the recommender system, he may want to keep that data for a long time so that if the recommendation algorithm is changed, it is still rerun against the full user history. But in this case, there may be a need to have a place to persist managed-ledger metadata in pulsar to ensure that the query history consumes the cursor. I'm not sure if rocketmq needs to persist offset, subcription and other information, maybe it needs to be discussed further? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
