Closing this one. The locking scope you describe in `ResourceOwnershipGuard.withOwned` is accurate, and the invariants and the measurement plan are useful reading. But we keep `docs/` for settled contracts and adopted designs, so a `status: proposal` document with no implementation and no tests is not the right home for it. Please move the content into #7194 for discussion. If the shared-admission-lock option is adopted there, the design section can land together with the implementation PR and its concurrency tests, which is also how the locking claims would get verified rather than asserted. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
