Reproduction result: the runtime metrics query path uses POST. I added an in-process HTTP server regression check for both HTTP 302 and 307 responses pointing at a second endpoint; on the current Spring/JDK stack neither redirect reached that endpoint before any production code change. The reported redirect bypass is therefore not reproducible for this request path. Closing to avoid an unnecessary change to the request factory. #1609 remains independently applicable to its GET-based settings test-connection path. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
