Closing as a duplicate subset of #10700, which reported this same classic `ConsumerOffsetManager` check-then-act race on 2026-07-30 — together with a RocksDB v1 incremental-persistence race — and already has an open fix in PR #10701 by the issue author. I filed this issue on 2026-08-29 without having found #10700, which I should have. PR #10992 covers only the classic-manager initialization race (with a deterministic regression test) and now links to #10700 for coordination.
