### What `ClientLease` retires a cached client without shutting it down during an in-flight operation. It had no test. This adds 7 tests. ### What is pinned - **acquire is refused once retired** — no new operations may start on a client slated for removal; - **retiring an idle lease shuts down immediately**; retirement **defers shutdown until the last holder releases**; - a release without retirement keeps the client open; - **repeated releases and repeated retirement each shut down exactly once** (the `closed` latch). ### Verification - New tests on unmodified code: **7/7 green**, checkstyle clean. - Discriminating mutation: the retired check dropped from `acquire()` (red). - Restored: 7/7 green.
