Eight tests pin: a blank source instance id matches nothing; alerts on different instances never match; the instance id is compared after trimming; null labels are treated as empty; conflicting resource labels block the match while matching ones (whitespace-insensitive) allow it; a label present on only one side does not block; labels outside the resource set are ignored. Discriminating mutations (build result verified): the instance id trim dropped (red). Restored: 8/8 green.
