Three tests pin: the window must be greater than zero (a cleanup can never delete fresh audit records); it is capped at 365 days (it cannot be deferred forever); and both boundaries are valid. Discriminating mutations (build result verified): the cap raised to 366 (red). Restored: 3/3 green.
