Review follow-up: the current head guards handleClearApiKey with the same submitted-value comparison as handleSave. A deferred clear test confirms that a replacement typed during the request survives while the configured badge turns off. The PR description uses Refs #5371 because that issue was closed by the stale bot. Focused tests, TypeScript, ESLint, and CI have passed.
