## Summary Closes #6993. Ignore one leading UTF-8 BOM before interpreting the first SSE line. InputStreamReader retains this character, which previously prevented the first `data:` field from matching and silently dropped its completion chunk. Interior U+FEFF characters are preserved. The regression serves a real local HTTP response and checks both the first chunk and an interior U+FEFF. This follows the [SSE decoding rule](https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/server-sent-events.html#interpreting-an-event-stream). ## Validation - Before: the new regression receives only the second chunk. - After: `mvn -B -ntp -Dtest=OpenAiCompatibleLlmClientTest test`: 30 passed, zero Checkstyle violations (Java 21). - `git diff --check` passes.
