Anil Gangolli resolved ROL-670.
-------------------------------

       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: 3.1

I retested today and I can no longer reproduce this in 3.1; I believe it was
finally fixed as a result of the ROL-936 fix (upgrading Acegi).
I am running Tomcat 5.5.17 now.

> Using Roller 1.0.1 on blogs.sun.com. I logged in, created a blog entry which
> contained some non-ASCII characters (', ", "), and posted it. I opened
> another browser window and went to my blog site to see whether everything
> looked OK. I discovered a typo, went back to the window with the blog editor,
> fixed the typo, pressed "Post to weblog". This sent me to the login screen -
> apparently looking at the blog in another window ends the session. I logged
> in again, and the post completed, but the edit field now contained corrupted
> text, and the same corrupted text showed up on the blog site. Apparently
> somewhere along the way through the login screen the UTF-8 byte sequence is
> interpreted as iso-8859-1 and thereby corrupted.
