Double escaping causing text rendering issues

There are places where double escaping is going on. Probably a combination of
theme and Java code behaviors. The blog name appears to be escaped in the code
but then various themes are making an addition escape pass on rendering
To see an example, go to Google Reader and add a subscription to:
