I started working on this in the Roller trunk and found that OpenJPA 1.x breaks
many of Roller's unit tests. I worked through some of the issues, but more work
is required.
The patch does not include these files, which should be placed in
tools/openjpa-1.1:

geronimo-jta_1.1_spec-1.1.jar
openjpa-1.1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar
serp-1.13.1.jar
