Glen Mazza closed ROL-564.

Resolution: Won't Fix
The New Entry button IMO is clear enough, because you can edit an entry by
clicking on "edit" at the bottom of each individual blog entry. I think an
automatic preview as you're typing in HTML wouldn't be worth the considerable
effort it would take (would probably require a bunch of messy, error-prone
Ajax), as the "Full Preview" button already gives you that definitive view of
what the document will look like.

> I find it frustrating that there is no automatic preview of the new
> weblog entry below where the edit area is as you are creating a new
> post. It's a separate view now. I suppose I'll need to swap over to
> a WYSIWYG mode to resolve this.
> I was also confused by the change of the label from "Edit Weblog" to
> "New Entry" on my home page. So where do I go to edit existing entries?
> Clicking "New Entry" lets me do that, but it wasn't obvious.
