Hmm, testing again on trunk (9:34pm Eastern US time), I can no longer replicate
this issue. I tried Swedish and French, and also switched the timezone to New
York, Stockholm, and Honolulu, and used multiple themes with the Calendar
working fine throughout. Perhaps some code cleanup changes I had done in the
interim had inadvertently fixed this issue.
