OK, I just ported the change back to our 5.0.2 branch and confirmed the
validation still works. Yes, if you can work from trunk that's much easier for
us, as it builds in much less time (5 mins for 5.0.1 vs. 1:15-1:30 for 5.1 on
my machine).
