David Johnson commented on ROL-2091:
------------------------------------
Sounds like a good idea. I don't think there is any problem with licensing,
this is very similar to distributing Roller jars via the Maven Repo --
something that can and should do as a convenience for users.
We should have a way to indicate what version of Roller the files come from,
e.g. put a version number in the URL, and have the word "snapshot" if the files
are from a not yet released version of Roller.
> Adding CDN contents to distribution for users inside firewall

> Key: ROL-2091

> Project: Apache Roller
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: User Interface - General
> Affects Versions: 5.1.2
> Reporter: Kohei Nozaki
> Assignee: Roller Unassigned
>
> As reported in ROL-2082 , Some users can't use Roller due to firewall that
> blocks some necessary files that available in CDN.
> I think it's preferable that adding these contents to Roller distribution
> that currently need to be downloaded from CDN such as AngularJS for users who
> are living inside firewall. Any problems with it (e.g. Licensing) ?
