It would be good to have a script or gradle task that runs the check command
against all the support Scala versions, so we can avoid annoyances like
SAMZA-206. "./gradlew test-patch" would be neat and helpful for committers.
This could be the beginning of a pre-commit/Hadoop-stype test patch
infrastructure and can tie into SAMZA-29.
