The 0.8.0 branch should be left as is (so that it remains what was voted on)
and a 0.8.1 branch crated. Alternatively, we could go with having a 0.8 branch
and specific 0.8.0, 0.8.1 tags. Either way, the version number should be
bumped up as part of the change. We don't want any confusion for people who
check out what we called 0.8.0.
