### Search before asking - [x] I had searched in the [feature](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/issues?q=is%3Aissue+label%3A%22Feature%22) and found no similar feature requirement. ### Description When using IMAP with external storage, implementations of `org.apache.seatunnel.engine.imap.storage.file.wal.writer.IFileWriter` currently write new data on every `write()` operation without cleaning up old data. As a result, external storage usage continues to grow, with the `engine_runningJobMetrics` IMAP showing the most significant increase. To address this, I propose introducing a "Compaction" feature. - Users should be able to configure the compaction frequency through a setting. - Optionally, users could trigger compaction manually via client or REST API.
