zhangshenghang opened a new pull request, #10861:
URL: https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/pull/10861

   ### Purpose of this pull request

Sync the JDBC string split strategy improvement from
WhaleOps/whaletunnel#2442 to open-source SeaTunnel with adaptation for the
current dev branch.

This PR adds `split.string-strategy` for JDBC source String partition
columns with `none`, `hash`, `range`, and `auto` modes. MySQL range splitting
is enabled only after validating binary collation and fixed-length printable
ASCII key samples. When the new option is not set, the existing
`split.string_split_mode` behavior is preserved.

   ### Does this PR introduce _any_ user-facing change?

Yes. JDBC source has a new optional `split.string-strategy` configuration
for String partition columns.

   ### How was this patch tested?

   - `./mvnw spotless:apply`
   - `./mvnw -pl seatunnel-connectors-v2/connector-jdbc -DskipIT
-Dcheckstyle.skip -Dspotless.check.skip=true
-Dtest=JdbcSourceConfigTest,AsciiStringRangeSplitterTest,FixedChunkSplitterTest,DynamicChunkSplitterTest
 test`
   - `./mvnw -q -DskipTests verify`
   - Added MySQL split E2E coverage in `JdbcMysqlSplitIT`. Local execution of
`JdbcMysqlSplitIT` was attempted but blocked by the local Testcontainers Docker
environment: Could not find a valid Docker environment.

   ### Check list

   - [x] No new Jar dependencies
   - [x] Updated docs/en and docs/zh for the new option
   - [x] No incompatible change
   - [x] Connector tests and MySQL E2E coverage were updated where applicable
