Reopening this issue because the underlying gap still looks real, and the previous close came from stale automation rather than a fix. If anyone would like to help, this would be a very meaningful contribution. A good starting point is to look at the coordinated-source path for CDC sources on Spark, especially how `SourceEvent` and `SupportCoordinate` are handled in the translation layer and CDC base source. Even if you can only help with reproduction, root-cause analysis, or a partial draft PR, that is warmly welcome.
