Thanks for the clear analysis here. I checked the current CDC MongoDB code path, and this does look like a real bug rather than a usage issue. The key problem is that the connector currently builds the connection string inside `MongodbUtils.buildConnectionString(...)` and hardcodes the `mongodb://` scheme. That means a standard Atlas-style `mongodb+srv://` URI cannot pass through to the MongoDB driver as-is, even though the driver itself supports both formats. So the right fix direction is likely: 1. allow the connector to accept a full user-provided MongoDB URI directly 2. preserve the existing host/username/password style config as a backward-compatible path 3. let the driver handle `mongodb://` vs `mongodb+srv://` instead of re-encoding the scheme in connector logic As a temporary workaround, if your environment allows it, you may try expanding the Atlas seed list into a regular `mongodb://host1,host2,...` style URI. But that is only a workaround, not a proper fix. I've labeled this as `bug` and `help wanted`. Contributions are very welcome if anyone would like to take it. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
