DanielLeens opened a new issue, #11276:
URL: https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/issues/11276

   ## Background

Users frequently ask whether SeaTunnel supports a specific source or sink
connector. When the connector exists, the connector docs are easy to cite. When
the connector does not exist, there is no clear official place that says "not
supported yet" or explains the recommended next step.

Recent user questions included connector requests such as Apache Pinot and
NebulaGraph. These connectors are not currently present in the `dev/docs`
connector list, but the docs do not provide a friendly answer for this kind of
unsupported-connector lookup.

   ## Goal

Add a documentation FAQ that helps users confirm whether a connector is
supported, what to do when it is not supported, and how to contribute a new
connector.

   ## Suggested scope

Please update the connector overview or FAQ pages in English and Chinese.
Possible locations:

   - `docs/en/connectors/overview.md`
   - `docs/zh/connectors/overview.md`
   - `docs/en/connectors/connector-faq.md`
   - `docs/zh/connectors/connector-faq.md`

   The update should explain:

   1. How to confirm whether a connector is supported from the official docs.
   2. How to distinguish a missing connector from a connector that exists under
a different name.
   3. What users can do when a connector is not supported yet.
   4. Where contributors should start if they want to add a new connector.
   5. A short FAQ entry using Pinot and NebulaGraph as examples of connector
requests that should be checked against the current connector list.

   ## Acceptance criteria

   - Users can get an official answer for "Does SeaTunnel support X connector?"
even when X is not currently supported.
   - The docs link to connector development guidance or the relevant
contributor docs.
   - English and Chinese docs are consistent.
   - The FAQ avoids promising support for connectors that do not exist in the
current codebase.
