Rechecked the latest head again from the PostgreSQL-CDC startup-mode path. The earlier Daniel-side source concerns I had about `snapshot-only` and the regression proof are materially addressed for me on this revision. At this point I do not see a reopened source blocker in the owned startup-mode logic itself. This branch is still quite stale against `dev`, though (`behind_by=22`), and the current failing lanes are not clean enough yet to separate "old branch drift" from a real new PR regression. So the lowest-cost next step here is still to sync the latest `dev` first and rerun `Build` on top of the refreshed head.
