DanielLeens opened a new pull request, #11483:
URL: https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/pull/11483

   ## Purpose

Make the high-traffic JDBC Sink documentation accurate, beginner-friendly,
and backed by an existing SeaTunnel E2E execution path.

   ## Changes

   - add installation guidance and engine-specific JDBC driver locations
   - explain generated SQL and custom SQL modes before the option reference
   - add matching English and Chinese PostgreSQL quick starts with create, run,
and verification steps
   - clarify conditional requirements for generated SQL, custom SQL, save
modes, primary keys, XA, and retries
   - fix invalid legacy examples that omitted `generate_sink_sql = true`
   - use the canonical `username` option while documenting the compatible
`user` fallback
   - scope engine-level timer flush to Zeta only
   - improve exactly-once prerequisites, common patterns, multi-table examples,
and troubleshooting
   - add `JdbcAutoGenerateSQLIT.testDocumentedPostgresQuickStart`, which writes
and asserts the three documented PostgreSQL rows

   ## E2E discoverability

The test is added to the existing `connector-jdbc-e2e-part-1` module. The
current `backend.yml` change detector maps the modified E2E paths through
`cv2-e2e -> it-modules`, and the existing
`updated-modules-integration-test-part-*` jobs execute that module. No new
workflow was added.

   ## Verification

   - `./mvnw spotless:apply`
   - `./mvnw -B -pl :connector-jdbc-e2e-part-1 test-compile -DskipTests
-Dskip.spotless=true`
   - parsed all 14 English and all 14 Chinese HOCON blocks with Typesafe Config
   - parsed and resolved `jdbc_sink_postgres_quick_start.conf`
   - `git diff --check`
   - verified CI module routing returns `connector-jdbc-e2e-part-1`
   - independent QA review: PASS
   - independent Maintainer review: PASS

The Docker E2E was intentionally not run locally per request; the existing
PR integration-test matrix will execute it. An aggregate local `-am
test-compile` attempt was blocked before reaching this module by missing
generated Typesafe Config classes in the local `seatunnel-config-shade` build,
while the changed JDBC E2E module itself compiles successfully.
