Thanks for picking this up and for linking PR #11487 so quickly.

I checked the latest update path here, and the issue is now clearly in the
\"implementation in progress\" stage rather than just \"feature request\" stage.

Assigning this to @fatmanverse makes sense based on the claim and the open
PR. For the first merge target, I would still keep the boundary exactly where
the issue already scoped it:
   1. explicit MySQL-CDC `snapshot` startup mode
   2. bounded completion after snapshot splits finish
   3. validation for incompatible option combinations
   4. docs in both `docs/en` and `docs/zh`
   5. at least one focused integration / E2E validation path

The extra note about parallel snapshot readers without checkpointing is
useful as part of validation, but it would be better to keep the core contract
here unchanged: this mode should remain a deterministic snapshot-only bootstrap
path and should not silently widen into broader CDC startup semantics.

Once #11487 is ready for merge, please also make sure the final PR
description calls out restore behavior explicitly, especially that this mode
resumes unfinished snapshot work if needed but never transitions into binlog
consumption.
