Hi @MuraliMon, thank you for proposing `SourceTimestamp` metadata and for highlighting the need to expose the original database event time. This is useful CDC metadata, and the contribution helped establish the direction for the shared implementation. The main capability has since been merged through #10667, together with the common metadata utilities and additional binlog and GTID metadata. The only potentially distinct remaining work is a small MongoDB-specific path, which would be clearer and safer as a new focused PR against the current code rather than by reviving this broadly conflicting branch. We are therefore closing this PR as superseded.
