Hi @corgy-w, thank you for the careful Iceberg DROP_DATA design and for resolving the earlier compatibility concern with an explicit opt-in strategy. I continued directly on your original PR and merged the current dev branch at 5d112e912, resolving the three conflicts while preserving both the DROP_DATA strategy and the newer Iceberg primary-key and multi-table sink behavior. The PR is mergeable again. Connector Spotless apply/check passed locally, and GitHub CI has started on the updated original head. Your original commits and authorship remain intact.
