Thanks @DanielLeens for the recommendation. I've added unit tests for exactly those paths in `FlussSourceSplitReaderTest`. They drive real `fetch()` through an injected mock`LogScanner`/admin. I deliberately kept this at the unit/mock level rather than a real retention e2e: forcing an actual server-side truncation depends on Fluss retention timers, which makes such a test timing-dependent and flaky. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
