hawk9821 opened a new pull request, #19:
URL: https://github.com/apache/seatunnel-shade/pull/19
This PR prepares the shade project for the first Apache release by fixing
three blocking issues identified by the PMC during the RC1 vote review:
1. Missing `LICENSE` and `NOTICE` files at the root level
2. `mvnw` scripts with CRLF line endings that cannot execute on Unix/macOS
3. Missing ASF license headers in some module POM files
## Changes
**Root level:**
- Add `LICENSE` (Apache License 2.0 standard text)
- Add `NOTICE` (Apache SeaTunnel Shade attribution)
- Add `.gitattributes` to enforce consistent line endings across platforms
- Restore `mvnw` and `mvnw.cmd` with LF line endings (only the line endings
were changed; the scripts were not removed)
**Module POMs:**
- Add Apache License header to `seatunnel-shade-calcite/pom.xml`
- Add Apache License header to `seatunnel-shade-commons-lang3/pom.xml`
## Verification
```bash
# Verify source archive contents
git archive v3.0.0 --prefix=seatunnel-shade-3.0.0/ -o test.tar.gz
tar -tzf test.tar.gz | grep -E "^(.*/)?(LICENSE|NOTICE|mvnw)"
# Verify mvnw line endings
git show HEAD:mvnw | head -1 | od -c | head -1
# Verify all source files have license headers
find . -name "*.java" -o -name "pom.xml" | while read f; do
head -20 "$f" | grep -q "Apache License" || echo "MISSING: $f"
done
