I checked the Dameng converter path here. This is a real bug: supporting but rejecting is an implementation gap, and it is part of the same national-character family problem discussed in #10635.\n\nThere are now overlapping PRs for this issue. Since PR #11684 already covers the broader Dameng national-character family ( + ) and also links back to #10635, keeping review consolidated there is likely the cleaner path than splitting the E2E changes across multiple fixes.
