Thanks for writing this up so concretely. I rechecked the current `dev` branch and the linked PR state on August 29, 2026. At this point, a large part of the operator-facing work is already in `dev`: 1. PR #11984 is merged, so the v2 `/loggers` REST surface, override origin reporting, and revert path are already available there. 2. The remaining open item from this issue is the legacy Hazelcast runtime log-level endpoint accepting invalid levels as `SUCCESS`; that follow-up is still being finished in PR #11983. So this is no longer an untouched improvement request. Most of the functionality is already fixed or added in `dev`, and the remaining work is narrow and is already tracked in an active PR.
