Thanks for opening this.
I rechecked the current `dev` branch on August 29, 2026. The diagnostics
proposed here are now in `dev` through merged PR #11982:
1. `GET /job-info/{jobId}` now exposes a `diagnostics` block for running
jobs.
2. That block includes per-pipeline `restoreCount`, `maxRestoreCount`,
per-state timestamps, and the aggregated restore count needed for incident
triage.
3. The implementation also routes the same payload through the
master/non-master paths so the response stays consistent across cluster members.
Since that merged change covers the scope described in this issue, I am
closing it.
If you want to extend this further with bounded state-transition history or
additional downstream consumers, please open a follow-up issue for that next
slice.
