Thanks for following up. I rechecked the current repository state on September 1, 2026. This feature is already in the implementation-review stage rather than open for a fresh claim. The issue is linked to PR #11487 and PR #11844, both of which target the same MySQL CDC snapshot-only direction and are still open. So please do not start a third overlapping implementation from this thread.
