   I opened [STIP-38](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/issues/12102) as the
reviewable design path for the narrowed Phase 1 proposal. It keeps the
connector local, source-to-memory only, and makes the asynchronous `POST
/v3/memories/add/` boundary explicit as accepted, at-least-once delivery. It
also treats delete as a capability gate: the implementation must name and
validate an exact documented endpoint before enabling it, rather than mapping
deletes onto the additive API.

The STIP includes the option/row contract, invalid combinations, retry and
sanitization rules, partial-batch acknowledgement boundary, mock-server test
matrix, and compatibility/non-goals. I will wait for design confirmation there
before starting connector code.
