Hi @134ARG, thanks for the detailed report and suggested direction! I’d be interested in working on this as my first LLVM contribution. My proposed scope would be to: - Reproduce the missed fold with the IR example. - Investigate extending computeKnownBitsAddSub() to prove X - 1 nonnegative when X is known positive, following the existing nonnegativity/nonzero query pattern. - Add focused regression tests for the fold and relevant boundary cases.
