   @DanielLeens I investigated the Amazon DocumentDB sink slice on Java 8 and 
11. The existing MongoDB sink already supports bulk upserts, checkpoint 
flushing and retryWrites=false.
   
   The concrete gap I reproduced is per-job CA/TLS configuration: MongoDB sink 
relies on shared JVM trust, while the DocumentDB source already supports an 
isolated SSLContext.
   
   Would you prefer extending MongoDB sink with per-job TLS support, or adding 
a DocumentDB sink that reuses existing write logic? Validation so far uses 
local MongoDB/TLS fixtures, not a live DocumentDB cluster. Let me know
