Thanks for adding the actual configuration and stack trace. This is a different, more actionable symptom than the original documentation question: the failure occurs while Postgres-CDC initializes its JDBC connection and reports that the server authentication type is unsupported. It does not yet show a logical-replication-port selection problem. Please add the exact SeaTunnel distribution version, the packaged PostgreSQL JDBC driver version, HighGo version, and the configured server authentication method; remove passwords and real host details. Also test the same driver against the normal SQL endpoint and the intended HA/replication endpoint, and include the server-side authentication log if available. Current dev uses org.postgresql.Driver in the PostgreSQL CDC connector, so this evidence will distinguish a driver/server-authentication compatibility gap from a separate endpoint-selection gap.
