I re-read the revised canonical STIP rather than relying on the earlier
summary. The three requested design elements are now present: it proposes GET
/job-lineage/{jobId} under the existing REST base path with schemaVersion=1 and
illustrative responses; it records provisional structural, byte, concurrency,
and deadline values; and it contains an exhaustive topology-only whitelist that
excludes configuration, addresses, JAR locations, SQL, traces, credentials, and
exception details.
This is a material improvement to the design, but it is still a proposal,
not acceptance or authorization to implement. The remaining gate is the
explicit decision process already recorded in D1-D6: publish a [DISCUSS] thread
to the dev list, add its archive link here, and record decisions on identity,
snapshot-only selection/history association, route/error mapping, resource
limits, and the access/overlap boundary. No implementation PR, cache warming,
DAG reconstruction, connector loading, or new persistent state should start
before those decisions are made.
