Thanks for documenting this failure. I’m interested in investigating it because the combination of restore, offset advancement, and a missing downstream record suggests a correctness issue. My initial scope would be: 1. inspect the full failing CI logs and identify the exact LSN and checkpoint boundaries around the restored insert; 2. repeatedly run the focused Postgres CDC IT to determine whether the failure can be reproduced and whether it is specific to Zeta restore; 3. add temporary tracing around PostgresWalFetchTask emission, reader handoff, and the JDBC sink input to locate where the record disappears; 4. if the failure can be isolated, add a deterministic regression test before proposing a narrowly scoped fix.
