Thanks for catching the stale assertions. I updated the existing converter tests to SHORT / INT / LONG / DECIMAL(20,0), including UBIGINT length and scale, and added the reason beside the mapping. The old suite reproduced all four failures before the change. The converter, catalog and source/sink suites now pass on both JDK 8 and 17 (70 tests on each), together with module verify.
