Classification: A / Connector-V2 DuckDB JDBC save-mode catalog routing. #12516 was correctly closed without merging. Its last verification found that the individual save-mode hooks were insufficient: `RECREATE_SCHEMA` could drop the attached target but the existing metadata lookup and CREATE TABLE path then lost the catalog qualifier, creating or retaining a local `main` table instead. That is a data-targeting correctness gap, so this issue is not fixed. The prerequisite is the still-open attached-catalog routing work in #12506, whose remote Build is in progress. Do not reopen #12516 or call this resolved until that route is merged and the follow-up is rebased. The eventual focused change must prove, with real JDBC flows, that `RECREATE_SCHEMA` recreates the intended attached table, `DROP_DATA` preserves its schema while clearing only its rows, and `ERROR_WHEN_DATA_EXISTS` accepts an empty target while preserving a populated one.
