@nzw921rx Thanks for running it, and sorry for the slow reply. I'm on it now
and will start the local runs within the next hour.

A first look at the per-iteration data from run 36820452487: only the
`pipelineNum = 1` point is still trending down during measurement; 10, 100 and
500 flatten by about the first measured iteration. My working suspicion is the
200 ms interval floor. At one pipeline the member sees 5 triggers/s, against
50/s at 10, 100 and 500, so the trigger path gets about 10x less warmup and
half the samples per iteration. That would also explain the CV shrinking as the
pipeline count grows. This is not verified yet.

   Plan:
   1. Confirm or rule this out on Linux (JMH `-prof comp`, longer warmup at
`pipelineNum = 1`). macOS timed waits fire about 5 ms late, so local runs will
be in a Linux container.
   2. Fix the warmup in a follow-up PR against `dev`.
   3. Run the full sweep (all parameters, 3 forks, JDK 8 and 11) and post the
commands, environment details and full per-iteration results here.

I'll take the fixed-interval scenario and longer runs for tail percentiles
as a separate follow-up.
