Thanks for pausing before opening overlapping work. I rechecked the current `dev` tree and the complete open-PR set: there is no CockroachDB JDBC dialect/source implementation or open CockroachDB PR, and there is no Couchbase source implementation or exact open Couchbase source PR. The older tracker claims have not produced an implementation PR within the tracker’s stated four-week window, so they no longer reserve those lanes. For CockroachDB, a focused `connector-jdbc` dialect PR is acceptable. Keep the first slice to demonstrated dialect behavior, including quoted identifiers and `INSERT ... ON CONFLICT (configured keys) DO UPDATE`; prove both physical-primary-key and explicitly configured-unique-key cases against a real CockroachDB test environment. Do not add a bundled driver dependency or broaden it into a standalone connector, CDC, catalog redesign, or speculative type coverage. For Couchbase, open a separate feature issue before code and keep the source boundary explicit: read direction only, supported authentication/TLS options, mapping and pagination/split behavior, checkpoint/recovery semantics, and a feasible test boundary. Link both new threads back here so the tracker can record the implementation lanes. No GitHub assignment metadata has been changed. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
