Updated in cd071519e. There were two separate precision losses: automatic DuckDB DDL always chose microseconds, and the JDBC typed binding discarded sub-microsecond digits even when the target was TIMESTAMP_NS. The DDL now follows the declared scale, and values carrying those digits use a text binding. Existing target-column precision still governs narrowing. All 107 DuckDB tests and root verify passed. The new regression creates the table through the production save-mode handler, writes through the sink, and checks stored values with independent SQL, including pre-epoch, NULL and one-nanosecond values. The historical alias read limitations remain documented; this does not claim to fix those. Container-backed MySQL E2E was not run. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
