Thanks @davidzollo @DanielLeens for the approvals. A new `incompatible-changes.md` entry on `dev` (#12801) caused a docs-only conflict, so I merged `dev` and moved this PR's entry next to "MySQL CDC Schema-Change Parsing", so new entries added at the top will not conflict with it again. No code changes, but the push dismissed your approvals. CI note: all MySQL-CDC test classes pass; the JDK 11 lane hit its 2-hour limit only after the last class finished (the job also grew on `dev` with new test classes), and I have re-run it.
