Hi @SEZ9, are you planning to take this proposal forward? I'd be happy to work on the compatibility analysis if it is available. I'd start with the Web UI, Python SDK and CLI behavior for the current jobId-only 200 response, then compare an explicit 200 response with a staged/opt-in 404. The proposal would cover user polling scripts, EN/ZH API docs and migration/release notes. I'd keep the checkpoint endpoint out of this scope and would not open a 404 implementation PR before the contract is agreed. If you are already working on it, I'll leave it with you.
