Implemented option 1 in the latest push:
- `SchemaUtils.convertSchema` now rejects `MAP` columns before native
dataset creation, with
`LANCE-05` and an actionable message (serialize the Map to a string or
flatten it into
columns). The check uses the row type, so a null first value cannot bypass
it.
- Added a unit test that asserts the exact error message.
- Removed `MAP` from the English and Chinese type-mapping tables and
documented the
limitation.
- Removed the Map column from the Lance E2E configuration, along with the
earlier Map
schema/writer changes, so the mandatory Build no longer exercises the
unsupported native
path.
Validation: 37 `connector-lance` unit tests pass; `verify` and
`spotless:check` pass. The
canonical Map schema/writer work is preserved for a follow-up once a
published Lance runtime
accepts Arrow Map values.
